Home and Renovation Contract Management

Distinguished and Different

"Our custom homes are as individual as you and your dreams."

We spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We live in the bedroom. And we dwell in the basement. The fact is, no other builder may put as much effort, skill, and experience into building custom homes as Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders.

From top quality materials to finely tuned craftsmanship, each Flash Enterprises Custom Home receives the same care and attention whether you spend from $180,000 to $2 million on your building project. We offer you the choice of a project build, a contract management build or just taking care of all the work and doing a general contract "for hire" building project. Whatever the need and desire, we will strive to perform to your needs and expectations.

We like to think of your home as a reflection of you. So we carefully select materials that make a statement about who you are and the home you've always wanted. Our fantastic interior designer will custom tailor your home with the antique touches that suit your lifestyle - from a walk-in humidor or a quadruple garage to a nursery with the perfect view or the most grand foyer you could ever imagine. Your dream, your desire – we can do it all with and for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you know you're buying a carefully built home?

You'll know you're buying quality when you see ingenious designs, architectural innovation, and a home with both style and distinguished substance. You might also want to look at the details, feel the handrails, inspect the joints and walls. As well, you should open and close the doors and windows, listen for squeaks, and pay careful attention to surface areas. We're positive you'll find everything true to form, and if something isn't to your complete satisfaction, let us know and we'll correct it. We also only use top quality materials which are CSA standards certified.

Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders seems to be a smaller company. As a new homebuyer, should this make a difference?

Absolutely not. Relationships with customers are made one at a time. If we at Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders fail to engage and be empathetic to every customer we meet, then no accolade can stand in for that bond; that trust. Being a Builder of the Year or the largest builder in the area is not our number one goal or on our customer's list of top needs when buying. We believe in helping to identify your needs and solving a customer's buying issues – and that is the responsibility of Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders. It's being the customer's builder of their future dream home that becomes the focus.

What makes Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders a better builder?

Some would say European traditions passed down and others may simply say, the quality of our service and follow through on commitments. Flash Enterprises Custom Home Builders has been providing the highest standard of craftsmanship and quality for almost a decade. We have always been true to our word - building what we promised and building it to the high standards to which we've always been committed. So whether we are building a custom home for you or contracting to do a project management build, our desire is that you are satisfied and become our friends.

What is the difference between a project management contract and a general contractors agreement?

A project management contract arrangement allows the homeowner of a piece of land to hire, for a "contracted fee",  a project manager to manage the entire or portion of a home owners building event. This, therefore eliminates the majority of stress and worry for the home owner while still allowing the home owner to have control of funds and all building decisions. With the typical general contractor arrangement, the homeowner has less input and has agreed to purchase a finished home and lot from the contractor at a preset price to be finished to certain specifications.

Why would I use a project manager over a general contractor?

The main benefit for the home buyer using a project manager is a cost reduction in the total price paid for their home and land. This is mainly because the project manager, although having the same functions as a general contractor, does not carry the financial risks since the homeowner is paying the invoices for the trades and materials (not the general contractor). This method of contracting has been very popular in Canada since the 90's and is gaining momentum as consumers realize the values and savings achieved.
